SEQUENTIAL PHOTO NARRATIVE
The Chosen One
This University brief required me to create an A4 fold-over sequential photo narrative inspired my a stimulus word. The prompt I selected to inform my narrative was ‘unknown’. The word ‘unknown’ is defined as something that requires discovery or clarification. When humans are faced with the unknown, we search for explanation. This process is not only engaging for the reader, but additionally provokes discussion as others have alternative visions and conclusions.With regard to conceptual influences, I instantly felt inspired by the works of Duane Michaels, famous for his sequence photography. I wrote my own poem called 'The Chosen One' to inform my outcome.
